I specialize in working with teens, young adults and their families. Teenage years leading into young adulthood can be a very challenging time for many young people as they navigate through various changes and tribulations in their lives. I have worked as a School Counselor for 23 years supporting teens and families with challenges such as; academic struggles, at-risk behaviors, relationships, social-emotional wellness, trauma, divorce and mental health struggles. During these challenging times, the guidance, mentorship and support of a life coach can make a significant difference.
During my Virtual Coaching Sessions, I focus on empowering the client to cultivate resilience, self-esteem, and vital life skills, enabling them to navigate challenges, make informed decisions and achieve personal success.
I offer valuable support to my clients by assisting them in setting and achieving personal and academic goals, developing resilience and navigating challenges with confidence and clarity.
My coaching approach is positive and proactive offering a safe, judgement free space that is solution focused.
First and foremost, I am a husband and dad of 5 amazing kids. My wife and I are both educators and navigating life with our blended family.
The past 3 years I have been battling 2 different forms of cancer and this experience has given me a unique perspective on life. As we continue to learn, life is not always fair and sometimes seems like more things are against you than in your favor.
Some of my other experiences include working with kids, teens and adults on topics such as self-esteem, anxiety, goal setting, divorce, bullying and learning disabilities.
In addition, my experiences include supporting people impacted by physical/mental abuse, substance abuse, suicide and domestic violence.
Though life is often the best teacher, my formal education consists of a Masters Degree of Science in School Counseling from the University of Rochester as well as Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. The past 23 years I have gained invaluable experience working as a teacher, administrator and school counselor.
I have first-hand knowledge that life is hard. However, I have been inspired to work through these times and I have been successful in doing so. My coaching philosophy is based on Positive Psychology which is focused on the character strengths and behaviors that allow individuals to build a life of meaning and purpose-to move beyond merely surviving but to flourish in their lives. Through my formal education, career experience and life experiences, it is my life purpose to help others.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Eric for helping me navigate a challenging relationship, a new relationship, and now what is a happy marriage and life. His guidance and support empowered me to face difficulties head-on, fostering personal growth and resilience. He did not always tell me what I wanted to hear but what I needed to. He encouraged me to remember how valuable life is and to rise above negative comments. I highly recommend his expertise, outlook on life, to anyone going through good or bad situations in their lives. Eric will keep you humble while helping you see the positive aspects of any dark situation.

Eric has been extremely helpful and supportive to me while I continue to navigate a difficult situation with my husband’s health. Talking with Eric is like talking to a lifelong friend- he lends an ear and truly listens. Despite the dark days I endured, talking with him left me feeling hopeful. He reinforced my personal strengths and helped me leverage those strengths day by day. Eric is kind hearted and mentally strong. He casts no judgement and draws upon years of experience to tailor his coaching to your needs. When I think back upon these difficult years of my life and marriage, I will forever be grateful to Eric for helping me through it!
